Z-Type vs Parallel — What's the Difference?

• Z-type (10 ft height setups): the data signal runs line-to-line in a continuous Z path — perfect and cost-effective for 10-line-high installations.
• Parallel (20 ft & 40 ft setups): for taller, wider displays, each vertical line gets its own dedicated data output from a parallel WiFi controller. This keeps the refresh fast and the colours sharp and uniform across a very large area — and these setups ship with the SMPS and controller pre-fitted inside a rainproof box for safe outdoor building use.

Not covered: physical damage, water damage, wrong SMPS connection (reversing the + and − terminals), connecting LEDs directly to 220V AC mains, or exposing the SMPS/controller to rain. Always protect the SMPS and controller from rain — on parallel setups use the supplied rainproof box. The LED nodes themselves are waterproof.

• Dry before storing: after each use, make sure the setup is fully dry before packing it away.

What's the difference between Z-type and parallel connection?
Z-type runs the data line-to-line and is used for 10 ft setups. Parallel gives each line its own data through a parallel WiFi controller for 20 ft and 40 ft setups, keeping large displays fast and uniformly bright.
