Pixel LED Strip 5V (5M) — a premium addressable "dream colour" strip where every LED is individually controllable for the smoothest, highest-resolution effects and animations. Choose WS2812 RGB, SK6812 RGB, or SK6812 RGBW to match your project.
Key Features
- Individually addressable — every LED controllable for true dream-colour effects.
- 3 quality tiers — WS2812 RGB, SK6812 RGB, and SK6812 RGBW.
- High density — 60 LED per metre, 300 LEDs over 5 metres.
- RGBW option — dedicated warm white channel for rich, natural warm-white lighting.
- Cuttable & solderable — trim and join at marked cut points.
Which Type Should You Choose?
| Type | Colour Output | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| WS2812 RGB | RGB | Standard effects, budget projects |
| SK6812 RGB | RGB (premium IC) | Better colour accuracy & reliability |
| SK6812 RGBW | RGB + dedicated Warm White | Warm, cozy décor lighting and warm-white accents |
What You Need to Run It
This strip needs a pixel controller and a 5V SMPS power supply.
Controller compatibility: the RGB variants (WS2812 RGB, SK6812 RGB) work with most pixel controllers — T1000S, SP621E, SP801E, SP108E, T8000, SP107E. The SK6812 RGBW variant needs an RGBW-capable controller such as SP107E. T1000S, SP621E, SP801E, SP108E and T8000 support RGB only and will not drive the warm white channel.
Power consumption: approx 18 watts per metre at full white. For typical pixel effects and moderate brightness, we recommend a 5V 5A SMPS power adapter →. To run all 300 LEDs at full white brightness, choose a higher-rated 5V supply.

How To Set Up
Connect Controller DATA → Strip DATA-IN (follow the arrow), Controller GND → Strip GND, then power from a 5V SMPS. Set the IC type and pixel count on your controller, load an effect, and power on. For long runs, inject power at both ends. For SK6812 RGBW, use an RGBW-capable controller (e.g. SP107E) so the 4th warm white channel works.
