How It Works

1. Connect a 5V power supply and wire your pixel strips to the output port(s).
2. Power on and connect your phone to the WiFi network W1000_PRO_XXXX (password 12341234).
3. Open http://10.10.10.10 in your browser (it usually opens automatically).
4. Select your matrix folder, IC type and connection type (S/Z).
5. Type your text and press Send, or load .out animations from the SD card.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many pixels does it support?
Up to 2,048 pixels across 1 or 2 ports. For larger displays, use the W8000 PRO (8,192) or W16000 PRO (16,000).

Which LED ICs are supported?
WS2812B (GRB) and WS2811 / UCS1903 (RGB). Select your IC type and the correct colour order is applied automatically.

Colours look wrong (red shows as green)?
Switch the IC type between WS2812 (GRB) and WS2811 / UCS1903 (RGB) until correct.

Is the display mirrored or scrambled?
Switch the Connection Type between S-Type and Z-Type.

Is it really app-free?
Yes — it creates its own WiFi and opens a control page in your browser. Nothing to install.

How is it different from the T1000S?
The W1000 PRO adds WiFi phone control, live scrolling text, multi-language and built-in effects — a smart upgrade with the same SD animation support.

I forgot my WiFi password.
Hold the on-board button for about 8 seconds; the password resets to 12341234.

*Warranty covers manufacturing defects only. Not covered: physical damage, water damage, wrong SMPS connection (reverse +/− polarity), connecting to 220V AC, or the controller being exposed to rain. Protect the controller and SMPS from rain (use a rainproof box outdoors).
